| A little about the Ransomville
Free Library |
The Ransomville Mothers Club met
at the old Grange Hall on November 24, 1922 and voted to establish
a library. Through the intervening years the library has moved
several times. The present building on the present site was built
in 1973 and an addition was added in 1987. From the $328.50 collected
at the original membership drive, the library had grown to approximately
30,000 materials and on-line circulation in the year 2000. |
